Service Description
This a 4 week course on raising your little dog - suitable for ages 8 weeks to 20 weeks of age. Our classes are tailored towards small breeds, with information targeted to the needs of tiny, toy and small breed dogs. We choose small class sizes to reduce oversimulation, and to enable personalised attention and time for questions. The Essential Puppy Foundations Course 🐾 Through our Play School, we’ve had the privilege of guiding countless pups from 12 weeks to 2 years of age. This unique perspective means we truly understand the journey - and the challenges - new puppy owners face. This course is the culmination of what we’ve learned matters most in those vital early weeks - from 8 to around 20 weeks old. We blend short, practical activities with engaging, theory-rich discussions while your puppy rests - so you can grow your expertise alongside them. Through insightful, practical lessons, you’ll learn how to: ✔️ Raise a happy, healthy puppy – Nutrition & safety ✔️ Keep them engaged & enriched – Play, exercise & mental stimulation ✔️ Teach practical skills from the start – Foundation behaviours & leash skills ✔️ Build confidence & prevent fear – Socialisation done right! ✔️ Create a strong bond – Understanding what your puppy really needs and setting realistic expectations Whether you’re a first-time puppy parent or just need a refresher, this course will set you and your pup up for a lifetime of connection, and joy. ~Class Policies & Expectations Health & Fitness to Participate All puppies attending class must be current with their vaccinations, free from contagious illness, and physically comfortable and capable of participating in class activities. ~Managed Dog Interactions To support a safe and positive learning environment, puppies are not permitted to greet one another while on leash. Any interactions between puppies will be carefully supervised and facilitated by the instructor. ~Family Members & Children Family members are welcome to attend and participate in the learning process. Children must remain with their family group at all times and should not approach, handle, or interact with other puppies unless specifically invited to do so by the instructor. ~Attendance & Bookings Class numbers are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of four puppies per course, to ensure individual attention and support. Please check your availability carefully before booking, as missed classes cannot be refunded, transferred, or rescheduled.
